The Warming Families Project was created to help get blankets and other warm items to homeless individuals by fostering family and community involvement.  By providing this much needed community service, the Warming Families Project hopes to make strides toward achieving its goal of strengthening families.

Utilizing Area Volunteers throughout the country, Warming Families will arrange to deliver your blankets to needy shelters in your area.  Please see click on Contact Information to read about me, your Area Volunteer for the Northeastern Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire area.

The Warming Families National Web site has free patterns for knit and crocheted blankets, mittiens, scarves, etc. as well as instruction for hand-tied quilts.  You will enjoy your visit to this site full of useful, creative information!
